Starting Problem/Check Engine Light Question
Has anyone had the following experience: After 2 weeks out of town, I went out this morning to start my A4/2.8. It started quite roughly, and the check engine light came (and stayed) on. After 15 seconds or so it smoothed out per normal. I turned off the engine and restarted the car, and it seemed normal, although the check engine light is still on.
The car had been sitting on a slight uphill incline for the 2 weeks, and the fuel tank was somewhat low (about 1/8 full). The Audi dealer told me it was just stale gas, which I find hard to believe as I used to leave my old car in a garage for a week at a time between use without any problem. In any event, I have my 2-year maintenance tomorrow, so I'm bringing the car in anyway. I did want to know if anyone else has had the same experience.

P.S. No, I didn't drive the car to work as a precaution.
