Stealth Car
#11
Used to drive a Saab Sonnet ...
.
It had
1. A very small frontal area
2. A fiberglass body, which is radar transparent
3. The motor was shielded by the radiator, which was angled forward at a 45o angle, bouncing radar into the road.
Since windshield glass is also radar transparent, this car must have had a very small radar cross section. From the number of speed traps I flew thru (back when I was young and crazy), I was convinced that this car was near invisible on radar. The wheels were probably the only thing reflecting a strong radar signal.

Re: Stealth Car
I seem to recall a car-bra that was made of something that claimed to absorb radar I don't think it worked as claimed. Your best bet would be to paint the car with paint that has metal flakes in it to scatter the radar beam. A good radar dector and jammer would also help. Also you'd have to do something about laser speed guns. An array of IR diodes firing on the front of the car would help.

been discussed...actually one was desinged, but looked stupid
it was based on the fighter angled design. to do one that looked good would be based on the continuous curvature theory of the bomber, but would take way to much time/computation money to deisng, then you still are not ticket proof, they can still pace you, or get you from the air.
