Stealthbox and reardeck Q's?
Just a quick question. I have a 00 A4 no bose and was wondering if the enclosure for the 4" in the rear door are still there? Since the Stealthbox takes over the reardeck speakers and I want to have some rear fill I was wondering if I can relocate a pair of 4"/5.25" speakers into the rear door. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks

Speakers in rear doors....I wouldn't
When you put speakers that close to you it will screw up the imaging (and I use that term vaguely with the factory system) because the location of the speaker is too close to you. It will make for a very left-right bias sounding system.

skip the rears....
You don't need rear speakers. They pull the imaging of your music presentation torwards the middle of the car (behind your ears), you don't want that. You want the image to sound as if they are playing up in your windshield, or if they're really done well, out on the hood. When you go to see live music it is in front of you, isn't it?
Take that extra money and invest it in better quality front speakers and a custom built kick panel. Then you'll really be happy!!
