Steering Rack Issue

Thought I'd do a little research for a friend, his 01 2.8 steering rack keeled over.

I thought I remembered a place online that fixed steering racks? or sold used one? If anyone could provide any additional information, I would appreciate it! Thanks.

iirc, i said who I bought mine from in my tech writeup...

i basically googled till I found one for a decent price.

DONT go to steeringrack.com, my friend put one in from there and it still had play in it.

i had written a tech article for Kris and he posted it in the tech section...

but I'm not finding it anymore.. but I just glanced over it. Might wanna toss him an email and see if it's still around.
