Stereo Code Entry
Hi all-
I was reading about how to enter the security code to unlock the stereo after power loss (concert series). The instructions say to enter the code using the station preset buttons.
My question: I have numbers in my code that are higher than 6. I have 6 preset buttons. How do I enter a number greater than 6? Do I use the FM2 button as a sort of "shift" key?

The way mine works is....
I have 4 digits. Call it 5-6-7-8
So once you are in code entry mode, you will press the "1" preset button 5 times to get it to 5. Press the "2" preset button 6 times to increment to 6. Follow that for the final 2 digits.
Once the code is in, exit the code mode and you should be all set.

If I remember correctly...
Double click the button (I.E. 4 should equal 8)
I can't honestly remember seeing that I haven't had the factory unit in my ride for quite some time.
If you call Carousel, ask for service, they will tell you the proceedure.

Well, getting high on the mileage..
Mine is a 97 with 66K on it.
It is actually starting to show. Thought it might be time for a new vehicle. Yesterday I saw the X-Type and I was like....DAMN!!!!
What do you think about it?
