Still waiting on my ECU from APR...
This is becoming a nightmare. You know it's bad when you dream about the UPS man bringing you a vanilla ECU for your car much less one that's chipped. So far I've been given 4 "it'll be there tomorrow's" without any nice UPS man walking up to my doorstep yet. What I thought was a quick wham, bam, thank you APR has turned into a big ordeal with me just begging to get my car running so i can go to work. Let's see they got my ECU on Thursday July 22nd and it's what the 2nd of August and I'm still staring at my car in the garage while my wife is asking me why I needed to send my ecu off to get it "re-calibrated". If you're married you'll understand. Of course, it would be helpful if someone at APR ever returned my calls (and I'm not being the belligerent customer here I'm totally serious) and gave me a heads up and explain to me what's taking so long and when, realistically, I can expect it back. So far it's always been me calling/emailing them and the only response I've ever received is a reply to one of my emails is that they were having "problems" with my ecu and I should get it back Wednesday or Thursday. That was last week...called them last Thursday to say WTF and they said tomorrow...
Actually they said "we don't have the parts for your ECU now so what we will do is send you back your ecu today and when we get the parts in you'll ship it back to use and we'll load it up with everything we have and charge you the regular $400 price." Great, 'cept I didn't get my ECU and now I'm wondering if in the end it's even worth the trouble. I just wanted to go fast.
Woo-sah, wooooooo-sah. <-- "Bad Boyz 2" for those of you who think I'm crazy.
I'm picking up the phone right now to call APR to see WTF is with my ecu again.
