For the last several months, I have noticed a little 'pop' into 3rd gear. I get 75% into third and it will create a jolt when it goes all the way in. A little like the gears want to grind a little.

I have pretty much narrowed this sensation to shifting to 3rd from a standstill to 1 to 2 to 3 shifting. When I'm going from 4th to 3rd- smooth. When I go from 4 to 3 to 2 to 3 its smooth. When I shift from standstill to 1 to 2 to neutralthrottleblip to 3 its smooth. I'm beginning to think the synchronizer is going bad. I've never had any experiences with trannys- so I have no idea what's going on.
