Is strat. shortshifter easier to install than UUC for non-pushdown? Which throw is shorter?

have you even looked into this?
strat is considerably shorter, 20% vs 35%
the only hard part about the strat install is the <a href="http://www.pbase.com/image/1322589">little spacers</a> you have to put in. but its a far better shifter than uuc (i've had both)
