Damn I feel kind of bad right now....

Me and some buddies just got some coilovers installed a few weeks ago, unfortunatly we ripped one of the CV boots when putting everything back together. I vowed after my Audi Assured was up I wouldn't go back to the delear...even though I have a few times in the past and dropped a few hundred each time I went...

But I didn't really have much time right now, and CV boot is an important thing so scheduled an alignment and CV boot repair. Get a call later in the day saying I had a really bad oil leak (already knew about it but didnt think it was a big deal) turned out to be the Camshaft Adjuster seal and valve cover gasket ended up leaking into the cam adjuster...as well as a few small things......figured since it was there might as well have everything fixed, so told them to go ahead and fix it...picked it up today with a whopping $600 dollar bill =(

Now I mean I'm not complaining I guess, I love m y B5 A4 and wouldn't be caught dead in a Jap or American made car, but I dunno days like this kind of get me down. I know that german cars aren't cheap but I figured if I could keep the reapair bills under $500 then that would be great. I dunno....I feel like my A4 is sucking me dry lately....

Most of my other A4 buddies are having relatively no problems....but they all drive B5 A4 2.8s...and all my issues seem to be 1.8T related. (Dipstick tube, ICM, etc.) I still love her though....thoughts? =(

If you love your car, keep it. If you don't and the maintnence is killing you, look into something else. That's the bottom line. Everytime I feel like getting rid of my car I go and do a good run on my favorite twisty backroad. That always rekindles my fire for my car.
