Stupid Oil Change Question

Stupid Oil Change Question
So I just finished draining the oil in my car but I was unable to remove the filter (I bought the cheap wrench instead of the nice one). Anyway to make a long story short, I had to go somewhere so I filled it back up with oil, leaving on the old filter. I still need to replace the filter, so my question is, can I replace this without draining the oil again, or will this cause a significant amount of oil to leak/shoot out of the motor? Thanks for the help

I take off the intake tube....little easier to me....also...
Just don't turn the car on with the filter off
I used to work at Jiffy Lube, and some moron did that to me while I was working lower bay...lets just say I was WICKED PISSED OFF after that

Yup. That's the ticket.
I'm assuming you've got an auto if you can't reach it from below. If someone made a quality filter relocater for B5 auto owners (thank god I've got a 5-speed), they'd probably sell a lot of them.
