Stutter when lifting off gas pedal at low RPMs
Does anyone else feel this stutter when you quickly lift off the gas pedal? If not what would that be the clutch not grabbing or a needed improvement in Engine Managment? Granted the only reason I'm asking this is that my friend has a BMW 325i and his car doesn't do this? He's saying it has something to do with the car being drive by wire, but I thought A4's have drive by wire also? And if so would the APR Engine Snub Mount fix this problem or is that for something else? Appreciate the input.

What model... fly by wire starts in '99. It may just be a little abrupt when the fuel cut-off activates. When you back off completely the fuel cuts out at above around 1500 rpm. Could also be a slight vacuum leak causing a lean condition. Does the car surge on overrun with very light trailing throttle? If so it's lean.
