Suspension changes in MY 01?
I have searched but can't seem to find the full answer to this. When did the rear suspension change on the A4? Was it '00, '01, or '01.5, and what did change? I read that if you buy shocks and springs together that there isn't a difference, but if you are trying to match shocks and springs the perches are different or something.
I am basically trying to figure out if I can put eiback pro springs on sport shocks from an 01 A4 AND put them on my 99.5. I know, I know don't put those springs on theses shocks, but I also read that andysprague has it with no issues. Plus I can get the whole deal for like 3 hundo.

Don't put aftermarket springs on stock shocks
Shocks will die fast
If you're on a budget. You can put bilsteins(height adjustable) or koni(damping adjustable) on OEM Sport springs for a stiffer ride
Background on what I used to have:
-OEM sport: comfotable
-Eibach Prokit/bilstein: rear springs are too soft, sagged in rear. 1.75" drop, a lot of body roll
-H&R race/bilstein: current set-up. 2" drop and stiff, still some body roll
