suspension/new wheels? aka dumb question

I have a 99 2.8q, and am interested in replacing the stock sport wheels with something a little more exotic. Am I going to need to change out suspension components? I know I probably should, but is it required? Also, any recommendations on cheap wheel/tire packages?

agreed...
although i had my 18's on with my sport suspension for all of like 3 hours and it really didnt look too bad. im sure 17's would like fine if you have the sport suspension.
but chip is right, it definitely looks better lowered with bigger wheels

well heres the deal...
i ordered both the same time but the wheels came the day before the suspension and i put the wheels on to drive it up to the shop and they took care of the install
and yes i should have done it myself but i had only had my car for about a week and i had never messed with working on an audi before. i had all hondas before
