Default Suspension problems continue. No rear drop. Please help.

Current situation on my suspension:
H&R sports
Bilsteins sports
on a FWD 1.8T

The front bilsteins are neuspeed adjustables set to the center perch. The rears are not adjustable.

My front has been lowered and there is about a 2.5 finger wheel gap. The rear wasn't lowered at all. I have a 3.5 finger gap.

Should I get rear adjustable bilsteins and set them to the lowest setting? Both bilstein and greedspeed say the car should be level with the new shocks set at the center setting (rear shouldnt be set lower than front) and they both think the springs are at fault.

H&R says the rear shocks are very new and they are at fault.

What should I do? New springs? Should I get new rear shocks?

Can anyone with a FWD A4 describe their setup?

Thanks.

Sachin

Springs tend to settle . I would give it some time.

Default Are you sure you have the correct rear springs?

<center><img src="http://www.rwnewmedia.com/a4/bilstein_adj_rear.jpg"></center><p>This does not make sense to me.

I just installed bilstein sport shocks in my 99.5 1.8TQMS.

The front shocks are Cartridge, type, and they use the stock spring perches.

The rear shocks feature an adjustable perch.

I have them set at the lowest setting, and the car sits perfectly even, about 1.5 finger gap all around.

True, except I have ZERO drop in the rear. It won't settle 1 inch.

Default Your rears are adjustable?!

My car is a FWD so the rears are not adjustable. Maybe I should just get adjustable rears made by neuspeed and that will solve my problem.

Do all Audiworlders with bilsteins have to put the rears on the bottom perch to level the car? Are your rears bilsteins made by neuspeed or are they regular bislteins?

Thanks.

Default Are you sure they put the new springs on and not your old ones. Some thing is very wrong. Why do the

companies keep saying the other one is at fault. Did you get your old springs and shocks back.

Also, what was your wheel gap before settling? I have 2.5 fingers in front now.

Default 2 fingers in front... about 1.5 rear....

I would measure them, but my car is at the body shop getting some minor stuff fixed.

After settling, about 1.5 finger gap all around.
