suspension problems please help!
The squeaking up front...first thing I would check are the four ball joints on that side. You have the two upper control arms, one underneath and behind the rotor (lower control arm) and the tie rod end. All four joints have a little rubber boot protecting the joint. A small tear in that rubber boot will allow dirt and moisture to contaminate the joint, and over time it will dry out and corrode (resulting in squeaking, knocking, etc.). Inspect the boots on those 4 ball joints...odds are you'll find the problem (you'll need to replace the arm or tie rod end when you locate the joint in question).
