sway bar bushing update/interesting article(nytimes) on car repair

I said I'd keep people updated, and here you go. Package arrived today and I took some measurements with the caliper and they're actually fairly close , so that will mean minimal work or fitment. Measurements still need to be taken exactly where the factory bushings are after removal of course(due to bends close to bushings, sizing will be distorted). I'll play with a couple different set-ups for the front, the rears should be plug&play.
The link is to an article in today's NY Times, thought some people might find it interesting as many stress over shop done repairs on the forum. Hope everybody is making it through the week OK

car repair

Yes(see link). They worked for me in the past, so we'll see here. Anything has got to be better then what the factory provides, which is exceedingly soft. Your getting snow already? Nothing but rain and 50+ degrees here in WA(on the coast).

energy suspension

Interesting article for sure! How can you tell though the coolant is low?
isn't it by just checking to see if the level in the reservoir is up to the line required? is that all those mechanics had to do, and didn't? or was it something more than that?

Its snowing in small squalls just below Lake Erie. Very spotty.
We used Energy Suspension on my friends S10 when we lowered it. Good stuff for the price. Theres more expensive out there but its not much better. I suggest anyone that gets road salt to epoxy paint the brackets before install or they will rust.

Just make sure the coolant level is between the "min" and "max" lines(see pic) on the coolant reservoir. Don't mind the level in the pic, taken on a hill.

You can also hit them with POR15 which is pretty tough stuff. You didn't happen to mic the sizes of those urethane S10 bushings out, did you? I read a post awhile back that they would fit the rear a-arms on the B5 quattro. I'd like to re-bush the rear control arms with energy suspension stuff if possible when I do a suspension over-hall on the car(coming up soon).
