I have a 97 and wanna change my tail lights to the newer model and I know that there's a couple of wires I need to rewire as per the write up. I noticed that there's 2 kinds of tails. One with the reverse light higher and the other is lower. I think the one with the lower is from 2000 and up. But anyways, do they both wire up the same way?

doesn't answer my question. In the article, it's the tails with the lower reverse (99.5-2001) that's used. What I wanna know is will the tails with the higher reveerse lights (98-99.5) wire up to a 97 the same way.

I guess the only thing I can say is look at the bulb holders for the 98-99 lights and see?
