Default Tales of a T28 driver...

Lean into the throttle

Slow down...lean into the throttle again

Yesterday I was following an "unnamed" Santorin T28 owner in NJ, and LMAO as he could not seem to keep himself at a steady state speed for more than 2 minutes before the urge overcame him! It's intoxicating and addicting! It's so much fun that you don't need another car on the road to tangle with.

Rowing throught the gears at WOT is yet another exercise that yields an ear to ear grin! If words could describe it, Sameer has already posted them, so I won't do him the disservice of trying to duplicate those words. Get a ride in a T28, and you'll see what I mean!

I just hope page two of "Tales from a T28 driver" includes a V1 or a PBA card. Hell, PES should just package that with the kit for Christsakes!

Default So im at a light...

and there is a green Civic coupe next to me. I launch lightly, and hear wheel squeal next to me. I figure aww shucks, and lay into it. I have about 6 car length by the end of second (seriously, that many). At the light he asks me to roll down the window.

"Hey those are twin turbos, right?"
"Nope, just one big one."
"damn....impressive."

Im so desperate for someone to pick on my that i had to respond to a Civic, a Pathfinder, and a Taurus

Big turbo A4s are fun. With the S4 having such a great road rep, the A4 just flies under the radar.

Ran into a WRX a couple weeks ago who picked on me...and he cut around a car in front of me and went to WOT. So i threaded between the cars, at which point he had to be at WOT for about 5 seconds. I hit WOT walk up to his ***, get in the right lane, walk past him, wave, and get to the next light, which is red. He slowed *way* down and would not line up next to me.

The best compliment is when another car will not line up next to me at a light after instigating a race. Ive had that WRX and a nicely modded out Si do that to me.

None of these stories are worth posting on their own, but i figured Raj started it

Cheers,
Sameer

Default I can hook you up with *unnamed Santorin T28 owner* if we ever do a philly GTG.

But I'll warn you...you really don't want a ride in his car, or your credit rating will suffer! I'm not joking...you'll lie awake at night trying to figure out how you can justify this purchase, and where you'll find the coin to pay for it.
