Default Techron fuel additive, any experiences?

I suppose i should have asked this question prior to 'gluggling' it down my gas tank. My local audi repair facility suggested i try a bottle with my fuel fill-up. They claim that it might help my sluggish, at times, warmup period by cleaning out injectors and such.

A couple days ago i posted a question regarding running a mid grade gas in my A4 1.8T. Sometimes the car feels like someone kicked it in the belly and it is grasping for air, while cold.

Thanks in advance for you input.

Chuck

I heard you should only run Techron before an oil change...the techron can break down your engine oil some, and its best to change your oil after you are done running through the techron enhanced gas tank.

Personally, I would never run less than high grade fuel. I have raced a similar A4 before, and as I pulled away from him, I could hear some knocking, then the timing would retard and I would pull away even faster.<p>Christian J. Long

All recommend adding it to the last tank before oil change. Acura adds it after each service.

Default I use it before every oil change. I might start using it more regularily. Works well!

I get Chevron gas w/ Techron. Is it the same stuff as the additive, at a lesser concentration?
