European A4 1.8TQM 163 bhp chipped or 190bhp unit
I am just about to buy.
I am not sure if I should go for 163 unit and chip it, APR probably, or go for 190 unit.
Any suggestions on 0-60 times of each stock and each with chip.
general comments on bhp and torque would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

most ppl seem to think that if you plan to mod, go with 1.8t, otherwise the 30v is a good choice.
ultimately you have more power potential for less money with the 1.8t.
You can supercharge the 30v for some nice power. Check out Rob's kick *** v6 audi.
From what I know the top quarter-mile runners in this group are using 1.8t with upgraded turbos and other mods. Some as low as the 12's, some in the 13's, and many in the 14's.<ul><li><a href="http://www.robsaudiworld.com">http://www.robsaudiworld.com</a</li></ul>
