Default Ummm, I don't have a 47-13.

For some reason my book stops at 47-4. Where did the pages go?

Default My main question is how I get the piston out, and then back in.

I assume the twist and pull method should get it out. And twist and push to get it back in?

Or should I pump my brake pedal until it pushes it most of the way out and then twist and pull.

I am just looking for the correct method of getting the piston out/in.

Thoughts?

Default Bentley's shows using a tool like the rear brake tools available at Harbor Freight, etc. and that

the piston unscrews to remove .. screws back in during install.

Default I got it figured out tonight.

I was able to use the tool that compresses the rear caliper to lock onto the rear piston but instead of turning it clockwise, I turned it counter clockwise until the piston just came out. Then I was able to pull the boot out of the two grooves that hold it in. Overall, a real simple job.

Tomorrow my boot and seals will come in and I will put it all back together.

I will probably do a short write up for the archives since there really is no good info in there.

Thanks for looking that up for me, Yippers.

Default Thanks again. I assumed that you were at work and didn't have Bentley there.

Tomorrow or Thursday I will hopefully put up a writeup.
