Thinking about buying a chipped ECU (more)
... out of the AW Classifieds. The obvious benefits here seem to be that this is A) cheaper than buying a new chip from APR and then also paying for them to program it and solder it in place, and also B) I'll have a stock ECU lying around in case I ever need it. My biggest concern is whether or not I'll be able to install the new ECU myself. How difficult is it to get in there and remove the old one, then pop in the new one? Also, are there any potential problems that I should be worried about, or advice from some of the more car-savvy guys on here? Just want to get as much info as possible before jumping in with both feet, so to speak. Thanks in advance.
