For those contemplating a random orbital buffer...

I think what he's getting at is that there are random orbital sanders that aren't (random), and thus are more likely to swirl your work.
Not to worry, though. I understand that Porter-Cable uses some sound quantum chromodynamic principles to make this thing truly random. Or, at least, people say that it works. :-)

Of course they do...
...because they're charging $200 for the machine
alone, while you can get the same machine packaged
as a kit with a foam polishing pad, sanding pad,
and bottle of MacGuire's cleaner/wax at any
number of online sites (like Amazon) for $110!
