Default question about waxes and method...

i have a brilliant black, s4. i recently used mothers, california gold carnauba wax. i did not apply it with a any terry cloth rags, or microfiber cloths. this time i did it with my bare hand, and i was wondering if there are any particular waxes that this only works with or can any paste type wax work like that?

Default that's just silly/messy

Most inexpensive waxes are formulated to work at normal temperatures. The high end waxes need some heat to become workable...hence the hand technique. No need to work with the hands unless the wax requires it.

But to answer your question, I don't see why you couldn't do this with every paste wax out there...if you really want to.

I think p21s / s100 is an "inexpensive" quality wax that works well applied by hand.

Default i'm more concerned about cuts...

Audi's have some very well made cars without jagged or rough plastic sheetmetal...

however, bloodthinners + cuts = bad.

foam applicators work just fine 8 ^)
