are any of you running at the NHRA sport compact event this coming weekend and if so are any of you going to try to run the "street legal" class that they are going to be running for the first time. This will be recorded for their tv show and there is even a "euro only" class for sport compact cars. First place gets a trophy and most likely will be seen on air for their coverage of the NHRA event. I am trying to decided if I want to drive all the way out there to run this class but at the moment I already have plans for saturday.

Also I am just worried since that is 4 hrs away and would hate to break something while racing that far away without having a trailer to take the car back. So we will have to see. I am also planning to run at the first Battle of the Imports which is the weekend right after the 1.8t which both are being held right at the CA speedway in Fontana.

you would get publicity out there, It's not that bad of a drive, I'd say go for it.

The problem is that I told someone I would help them with something and once I do that I dont back out. The other issue is if something breaks while way out there and at this time I am not setup with a trailer for out of town racing.
