Best spot...
On top of the steering column. All the wires you are tapping are right behind the instrument cluster anyway.
All the wires you need to run will fit underneath the adjustable piece of plastic that moves up and down with the adjustable steering wheel. So no wires are visable.
And best of all...it stays out of view of passengers and keeps them from asking..."why does your clock always say '2:00'?" (aka putting it in the cupholder spot)
This is the best i could find of mine...i need to take a better one.

I dont want them to know i have it. So ill turn it off if i take my car to the dealer.
And installing it in the glove box like that is very tough. Ansen did this install and it required to take apart the Greddy and actually mount the face in a different spot than the face which required the lengthening of the ribben that plugs into the face.
