My dealership says the tie rod recall isn't in effect yet in canada...is this B.S. or what?

they also told me the brake booster vacumm is not an issue and they've never heard of it.

Enter the "Official Audi Sites" under "Links" then select "Recall Info". I just looked and it gives the VIN of those cars affected.

I don't know about the tie rod recall but I got my brake vacuum booster problem fixed by an authorized Audi dealer in Ontario, Canada 1 week ago. Got the car back the same day.

Check the cirrcular in http://tech.vw.com/ and it should list the VIN of the cars that needs to get both serviced.
