Tire Poll.....So which really is the best MAX performance tire?
Being all in and around the same price range I am having trouble trying to determine which will be my new summer tires 225/45/18.
Heres the list....what do you guys think???
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
Michelin Pilot Sport
Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP
Bridgestone Potenza SO3
Pirelle P-Zero Rosso
Yokohama Parada Spec-2
I know the SO3's are very popular here but everywhere else I go I am told there are better tires out there...and for less money.

Add Pirelli Neros and Kumho MX's to the list...
Goodyear...they produce more bad tires than good ones. That tire is way too new to make any conclusions. (i.e. a tire that is grippy up to 5K miles, and noisy and slippery for the last 15K of it's life is useless)
Michelin Pilot Sports...imho, good overall tire, however they get greasy when warmed up. They make me nervous.
Firestone...just like goodyear...too many crappy tires to take a chance on one (possibly) good one.
S03's...very stiff sidewalls. Great for handling, not so good when it comes to noise on expansion joints. Grippy as hell. They can get noisy over time too, but probably nothing out of the ordinary for a high perf. tire.
Rosso's...place a greater emphasis on comfort and noise factors over ultimate grip.
Nero's...based on the tirerack's testing results, these are designed as head to head competition for the acclaimed S03's.
Parada Spec 2...feedback on the spec 1's was horrible. Perhaps the spec 2 are better, but do you want to gamble with your money?
Kumho MX...they make R compound race tires that are pretty well respected. The 712's were also a good bargain tire in it's segment. This is one I would consider as an alternative to an S03.
If you want all out performance at the expense of noise, comfort, treadwear, etc., then S03's, Nero's, and MX's should be at the top of your list.
If you are willing to trade ultimate traction and handling for a quieter, and longer lasting tire, I would consider SP9000's, Rosso's, and Pilot Sport's (although treadwear will suffer with these).
