tires
i was just curious, for those of you who have the sport package with 205/zr16s, as to how many miles you have gotten out of the tires. assuming your answer is not based on you driving on the autobahn, thanks for your answers. by the way, i had to replace my two front tires after 29k miles and i now need to replace the other two(i'm at 33k miles now) i thought i would get more miles out of these tires especially since i dont drive like i'm in the indianapolis 500, but i guess not....thanks

I'm getting less than 20K with hard driving.
Just to show you it could be worse... Mine have just under 18K miles and are pretty much shot.
I've done 4 days of driving school, several cross country trips and lots of commuting. I'm going to eek out one more day on the track (I hope it's dry) and then they're done. I have a set of take-offs waiting in the shed. I'm hoping they last the summer.

27k on 225ZR40-18 SP8000's. 3 track events, 2 auto X and still over 1/4 inch of tread on them.
I'm a Dunlop guy. My little Mazda with D40M2's lasted 45k - replaced them because I bent 1 rim - bought new larger wheels and tires on an accident. My SUV with 275/60 Sport Rover GTX had 50k before a large pothole consumed 2 of them. Actaully, one of my 225/40's in the Audi had been through 1 pothole - where in the rim had been repaired, but the original tire is still used and had 3 track events ever since - Alignment is key.
