This is some car....instant speed at your finger tips, and tiny differences from my 01.5 that make it a lot more fun to drive:
- stiffer clutch that provides head snapping
gear shifts
- Tighter steering and a more on-center feel
- Stiffer suspension, less body roll.
- The leather sport seats are awesome, very
suportive!
- I liked that the headliner and pillar
treatments matched the black dash and
interior. My headliner is that light gray
color - really liked the all-black interior!
- The gauge cluster was awesome in the evening,
the gauge needles light up in this cool white
color...plus they seem to be backlight even
when the headlights are not on - convenient
for tunnels and such.

Although I did not like the 6spd transmission, it was very clunky and hard to get into gear at times when driving hard...you had to be very precise when shifting. The model I drove had the maple interior...I much prefer the aluminum moldings -- but I am not complaining.

All considered this is a wonderful car (in my opinion not worth the $10 grand increase in $)and I enjoyed every moment of the 3 days that I was in this race car. By that way it did 130mph without a flinch!

Default Took my A4 into the shop and got a Toyota Corrola as a loaner, some impressions...

pile of flaming poo

this was however.. much better than the magical invisible car that the audi store in plano gave me twice. which was very hard to drive home.

Default I heard the M3 Trans is just as bad

They are clunky because they are built to withstand more power than your average car (powerwise).

Default I love the S4 clutch and transmission

Very tight and very accurate.. Excellent when your driving hard and accelerating hard.. Did take time to get used to, but once you do you never wanna go back =(

Default Man, do you guys always get loaners?

Since I moved, they always ask if I bought the car there and I say no, but I service here all the time... and they always say it ran out, since they have to give it to the people who bought here first... hum...
