Default top of hatch(hash) marks is proper fill level correct?

the level on mah car is 1/8" over the bend and the place that changed it says that is normal. now from what i remember anything in the hatch marks is good. Over=bad.
Sorry for the newb question, ISTFA and didnt come up with any good results and didnt want to spend 10 mins digging for an answer.

Oil? Coolant? Power steering? Brake Fluid? Washer Fluid? blinker fluid? Hid Fluid?

Default Does the 1.8t dipstick have the orange plastic pieces on them?

There should be horizontal lines indicating the min and max fill either way, whether on the plastic nubs, or stamped into the metal.

Default A bit too much. Up to the bend is OK. the hatch marks show proper fill levels

assuming you're talking about oil

Default yes, it has the orange plastic pieces on them, but they're not for measuring the oil level. It has

a bend in the bottom of the stick, then there is small smooth section, then a larger course section and then another small smooth section, then it bends again.

I run mine right at the top of the course section, which is 4.25 qts with the big mama filter.

Default Big mama filter reminds me.......

I have one napa gold filter and a Mahle in the big mama size. Would you like them free of charge? They dont have boxes, wrapped in plastic wrap.

Default sure

nothing wrong with free

you can keep the Napa filter. I know people will say that it's fine, but I only use the Mann and Mahle filters.
