Total suspense!!!

So, I ordered a new A4 99.5 about a month ago. And, I was informed it would take about 2 to 3 monthes to get. Anyway, my new car is already arrived! It's quietly sitting in my garage as I type this. The only problem is this... I'm not home to see it. This suspense is killing me. I'm quite excited to get an A4!!! But, I'll be home in a few weeks.<p>EX-97M3 owner

Probably not a problem, but...

There's no way that they could get an ordered car that fast. It would take more like the quoted 3 months. It looks like what happened is that you have a car that was either ordered for someone else, and they cancelled, or a car that came in unsold that they didn't know, or forgot, was coming in. Another possibility is that they got it in on a dealer trade - another dealer wanted a car that your dealer had and gave them your Avant in trade. Check the dealer name on the car's sticker to see if this happened. As long as it matches your specs., has "zero" miles on it, and it is really a 99.5, not 99.0, this is great!

I had the dealership 'search' the system for a car matching my specs that was already shipped. I think you're right about rerouting the car. I know for sure that it has 'zero' miles since I they found the car while it was enroute to North America. Lucky I guess.<p>I know it's a 99.5 for sure because I asked my family to 'snoop' around the car and check out the details.
