Trany code help
I hope you can help. I have a 98 A4 V6 Q with a trany code DRN is there any other code trany that I can use? I know someone with a DTV out of a 99 1.8T Q just need to know if this would work and if there is anything I can do to make it work i know there are others that have done this. Thanks

I currently have a DJJ 1.8T trans behind my 2.8 and love it. The steeper 1-2 gears make for alot of torque. The only thing you have to do is swap your LH trans mount off your trans to the 1.8 trans as it mounts up differently.

Any O1A trans will work save for the S4, TDI and euro 2.6 transmissions as they have a different final drive ratio.
