Default Trip computer display question....
I have 99.5 A4 and I was wondering whether the trip computer should show every door that is opened like 2000 and 2001 A4?? The display only shows if my trunk was released, but not for the 4 door, is that normal?

Default Sounds right.
My 98.5 only shows the trunk open.

Default hmmm, now i'll have to check... i'm curious too. btw, do your doors automatically lock?
my doors don't lock automatically after the car starts.

i remember a thread about this a while ago , can't find it now. i think the all 4 doors display on the trip comp was not until 2000

my 98.5 only shows trunk also

Default correct...99.5 only show trunk...
also the gear selector is different.....

PRND321 = 99.5
P R N D 3 2 1 = >00

Default Thank God, I thought the previous owner screw the car up....
A4 C ---> you have to bring the car to dealer and program it so that the doors would lock after the car moves.
