too large of a FMIC and poor flow can cause drastic pressure drops... usually .1 bar is reasonable.

i've heard that low backpressure (ie: exhaust) also lowers boost, is this true?

Default pressure drop and it's a load based boost system. If the engine is maknig more power

(due to reduced intake charge temp) the ECU won't request as much boost.

Default think about it...then ask again...

it doesn't necessary lowers boost...rather it congests it. kind of like a clogged sink.

Right, like blowing through a straw versus blowing through a straw with bends in it

Default i think you can run into intake volume limit.....

where the K03 just can't compress air fast enough to fill intake system, so to speak. you'd want to match ic volume to turbo size.
