TT update.
I actually opened the box
The Bosch part number is 0 280 142 114 The spring is SUBSTANTIALLY STIFFER than any other BPV I've tried. I've seen most iterations at this point. I mean STIFF. It's VERY hard to open by sticking your finger in the hole (can't wait for the repsonses to THAT one...)
I am pretty excited about trying this bpv.... It even feels HEAVIER, maybe due to a thicker reinforcement plate.

It's much more solidly built than the other OEM bpv's I've tried - and weight DOES at times play into that at times. A beefier plate will naturally cause the valve to weigh more, as the other components are neoprene and plastic. Besides, the TT valve is less in cost than the baileys. Probably free.

It definitely sounds like a good alternative. Actually, I'm going to go buy one later..
I don't feel like waiting for one to be shipped in, especially since I am in Canada. I'll see how much the stealer is asking.
You listed 06A 145 710 N as the part number in an earlier post, is this correct?
regards,
Liam
