Turbo lag problem - Diverter valve?
Hi there
I am new to this forum and have an annoying problem with my '97 Audi a4 1.8t avant.
I am experiencing loss of power at low revs (below 2000 on deceleration) and also have some problems accelerating at low revs. Everything is fine above 3000.
I did some research and decided that my problem must be a diverter valve, and purchased a metal one for around £80.00.
The instructions said I need to locate the valve entering from the top of the engine, and I almost replaced the PRV, in stead of the hyperboost valve that is apparently situated underneath the engine.
Does my audi have one, and will this solve my turbo lag problems?
Any views/advice will really be appreciated.
