Turbo question.....
I have recently taken apart my motor and found out I have a k04 turbo....is that stock? I thought a k03 was stock, I could be wrong, if it isn't the stock turbo what is the difference between the two HP -wise along with other differences?

The K04 was never a stock turbo other then for a Audi 225TT.
Is this a new car from a dealer or did you buy the car used? If you got it used I sure hope you have a K04 chip in the ecu to go with that turbo.

What's the HP differences?
I know a chipped k03 is 195HP-what's a k04?
Also woulcd there be a problem if the previous owner only had the k03 software as opposed to the k04? or is it just not reaching it's full potential?
