Turbo timer caused my windows not to roll up
I installed the turbo timer and posted yesterday about this problem and didnt get a thourough response. I rolled my windows down so that the car wouldnt get to hot while I was working in it. After I installed the TT I went to roll them up and nothing.
Everything else on the turbo timer works and I followed the directions in the tech article. Can someone tell me why this happened and how to fix it.
Thanks
Brian

Re: Fuse?
Well in the tech article it says that the five amp fuse from the central locking system was relocated using an inline fuse and holder. Let me go pop in that fuse that I took out of position number 6.

i asked you yesterday what year your car was.. i've heard this happen with MY2000 A4's before
i don't recall what the fix was, but it should be in the archives if you search. it happened to EDness when i installed his turbo timer. he did some searching, found the culprit, and fixed it himself, so i don't know what was wrong or what he did.

yeah I saw your post yesterday and searched...
I think what I did was cut the wrong wire. A friend who had the same thing happen to him who I also called today said that there is another wire deeper into the fuse box that I think I am going to try. Am I correct in that there are two central locking system fuses?
