Default Turbo Upgrade on an A4 Tip

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has done a turbo upgrade on an A4 with tiptronic. If so, how far do you think I can upgrade, given the limitations of an automatic trans?
Thanks
NM

Default K04 easy with MTM software. Running fine for me for 26k mi

MTM is the only vendor with the K04 software that I could find.

I was contemplating going with the AWE setup. I already had the ECU and Tip chipped by them so I figured it would be cheaper as I will only need to get the ECU redone for the turbo. What is the advantage of the MTM setup?

I bought all the parts separately and saved a ton. Only bought the ECU flash from MTM

Default I picked MTM because they have been tuning Audis since the 85ish and put a substantial..

amount of time into the development of the software.
With your '01 you would need MTM injectors that would add to your cost. But as far as driveability it starts as stock, I have never had any CEL's. Max boost I have had was about 25 PSI's
Hoppen is the US distributor for MTM products.<ul><li><a href="http://www.mtm-online.de/en/index.php?nav=4">MTM background</a></li></ul>

Default Long list of places... with a few edits and a link!

Stratmosphere for the Milltek exhaust - winter sale $820
edit: or you can get a Borla exhaust
ATP for the exhaust manifold
Kineticmotorsport for the k04
Techtonic tuning for 2.5" downpipe - will have to be modified to work with Milltek
Anderson Motorsport for modified cat and MTM k04 software
I had everything ceramic coated, costly add on. If you are to do that get Swain Tech skip the other coatings.
You will need to find the right injectors for your software.
The '01 requires larger injectors of which someone has flowed the MTM injectors for the '01 and if you search you should be able to locate a cheap set of Bosch injectors.
edit: TmS4 is using 420cc injectors on his '01<ul><li><a href="http://account.audiworld.com/users/59700.phtml">TmS4</a></li></ul>
