ok.. I will try to explain it again...
your 96 has couple of options to upgrade headlights.
Option 1: Get yourself an 99 Euro S4 headlight set. This is the most plug and play of them all. IF you can find a set. Most places are out of stock on this one. Cost: $1400-$2200
Option 2: Get youself an one-piece euro projectors. This requires some trimming of the fenders. Use regular blubs (H7) and do your own fender cutting will cost you $350 (cheapest one)
Option 3: Get yourself an one-piece euro xenon set. Require fender cutting, best performance of all. For $1600
Option 4: Compromise, get 1-piece euro projectors ($350), and xenonshop conversions or SPP xenon kits (~$600) and you essentially have a real xenon setup. This requires fender cutting also, as well as need to rewire the housing. (alot easier than it sound) total: $950
I've seen post that someone could get their body shop to trim the fender. You could probably explore that possibility if you don't want to do it yourself.
Hope that helps!

PG Performance sells them as well. But they are in Canada and the charge a weird tax/tariff stuff.
