Um, really dumb brake question.
How do I know when it is time to change the front brakes, or rear brakes. What about Front/Rear Rotors? (besides the obvious..."You can't stop")
I've always sold my cars before changing brakes, so I'm not sure what to look for.
I'm guessing the fronts are ready to go, since they started squealing this week.
Thanks for your help

Inspect the pad thickness...
I would recommend anything less that 7mm should be replaced. I also will change rotors at the same time. It's approx $350.00 for the (OEM) parts and, if you are inclined, a DIY job. Check the tech section for instructions.
