UPDATE: GIAC Group Buy
In reference to previous foum postings:
https://www.audiworld.com/forum/m.new/a4/msgs/347962.phtml
I got some responses from Todd at AWE. I am posting these to the Forum even though individuals asked me privately. That way if anyone else is thinking the same thing, their question is answered as well!
In response to the question about the 2.8l Engine being included in the group buy:
<i>"We can give a $50 discount to 2.8L 30V owners with this group purchase. However, we cannot give a discount on the trans chips because of the degree of difficulty. We actually do not make much on the tip chips because of it."</i>
In response to the question which essentially asked, "If I am included in the group buy, when do I have to have the chip installed and paid by?"
<i>"To officially reserve the group purchase price, this person will have to pay
during the time the group purchase is open. Once that is done, we can hold his
price indefinitely."</i>
Hope that helps... later today I will let eveyone know how many people have given me a thumbs up on this auction (ie., countdown to 20 people)
Thanks.
