UPDATE: While cleaning glass out of the A4 tonight I found the murder weapon!
I found a LARGE screwdriver with a black handle. This was obviously the tool used to remove the headunit. Think the police can dust it for prints? I put it in a large plastic bag.

find out secretly....
and then use it to punch holes in every body panel in their own car!
then leave it in the hood and write "I brought it back for you" on the hood in nail polish.... with a large arrow pointing to the screwdriver.

theives left a rap cd in my car...when that was taken LOL....
apparently the prints matched some guy who didn't necessarily have a clean record, but they couldn't pin the theft to him. =(
