Default Uuuuuuuugggggghhh - spent last 2 days doing bt install - someone shoot me

few hard spot were

the updated oil line from axis - it was kinda of hard to get in - because the fittings made it push towards the engine more - making tools hard to fit - and I had to find a place to bend the oil line.

engine mount - were a pain - for some reason i called up a friend and he said the engine mount he receive from 034 were exactly the same for passenger side and driver side - they are different - I just made it fit - lets just put it that way

tomorrow -

stab myself

- do coolant in and out lines
- oil return line
- mount turbo
- finish off with the mounts - still need to tighten
- install coolant tank
- wire 90mm MAF
- do the inlet pipe - from ATP - i know their **** is a POS - and this is not going to be fun
- then stab myself again or someone on the street

so far on reflection it seems - that atp can't make **** right - but turbos - crossing fingers

- two minor scrapped knuckles

- going to hopefully fire her up tomorrow

running 15psi with Ctapp software - then run some logs if everything looks good then up to 20

because I kept the stock manifold on (THANK GOD) - not keeping the ATP - pos stuff

Default don't stab yourself, it just makes a mess while you're working. I did that last night with a razor

whenever I work with a razor blade, there's a 50/50 chance I'll draw blood. I was running a vac line and had to wipe blood off various parts along the way since I refused to stop.

Default is a new oil feed really necessary?

goodluck with the rest of it, i will be going through the same in a bit

why'd you choose atp inlet pipe instead of the neuspeed? iirc they are the same price

Default yes - the new oil line is highly recomended

iirc - this post came up once and because the oil line runs above the engine - it is easy to heat it up and causes the oil line to clog - a updated oil line insulates that part and it is also longer so you can take it away from the heat of the engine.

also with the new oil line - i really don't like the way it sits - it pushes up on some hoses - but the part it pushes up on has like a plastic/rubber around it and also a screw clamp - so i placed it under there - not really comfortable with its placement - because it is rubbing so it will either it will damage my oil line - or whatever it is rubbing will give.

or it will be all cool.

Or you can just get some heat wrap - and wrap that baby up - save some money.

i got atp inlet because i got it used for freaking cheap - 100 bux - i can't fight with a bargain - and those things really don't go "bad"
