Vacation ideas needed
Wife and I have our 20th wedding anniversary coming up next year. Trying to plan a destination around Spring Break time (early april). Would fly or drive the kids down to florida to stay with grandparents - then would have a weeks vacation.
Would prefer east coast location - tropical. Have done all inclusives before (Playacar) and loved it.
Hawaii and Europe is out (too much time travelling)
Been to Maui, Playacar, British Virgin Islands before - would like to try something new, but similar feel (beach, tropical, full service)
Thinking of Jamaica, Bahamas, somewhere in caribbean.
Are any all-inclusives better than others? Iberostar, Breezes, etc? No need for adventure type locations...we'd like to kick back and maybe catch some entertainment.
Might consider a cruise - never been, no great desire to go on one, but heard they are great.
ideas?

This past Nov I went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Absolutely beautiful. Had an amazing time. This was my first time to a carribean island, and it was a blast. was 80-90 every day, barely a cloud in the sky, and all inclusive. Def ate and drank myself silly on that trip
It was a rough life, but someone had to do it
Hope the pix show up:

Re: Vacation ideas needed
My wife and I went to Sandals in the bahamas Jan 08. It was great! A little cool, but when you are talking about going it would be really really nice.
Flight was about 45min from Miami.

Palma Real if memory serves me correctly...
it was fairly new, and had a new resort going up right next to it.
Def wasn't expecting it to be as ridiculously nice as it was. All floors were marble, huge open lobby, open bar, free dominican cigars, food available 24/7, and the list goes on.
The guys at the bar IN the pool got to know us by name practically It was rough.

Hawk Cay in the Keys (Florida) or Costa Rica or Puerto Rico.....
If you want to do Puerto Rico I may have a sweet hookup on a condo(ish) kinda thing, my brother just got back and it was a steal.
