Tell me about it. I was almost killed this weekend when a BMW cut me off and then later...
when I tried to pass him he swerved to hit me and slammed his brakes at 70mph almost causing a big accident in traffic. Luckily for me and my fiancee, I have an awesome handling car. Quick, evasive lane change saved us. Where is a cop when you need them. We were looking to flag one down so he could pull over this *******. I am jsut happy we survived it.

Simple: If you are passing, use the left lane. Otherwise, keep to the right. (more)
Don't worry about how fast someone else wants to drive. Maybe you got trapped in the left lane and she was a jerk. But if you keep to the right except for passing you are not likely to have this problem again.

exactly....but, if there is enough room for you to be passed one the right...
...then there was enough room for you to have moved over.
I would LOVE to pass only on the right, but it seems that the REST of stupid americans MISSED that day of drivers ed and feel that hey, left lane, right lane, whatever, all the same right?

I hate it when I am cruising at a nice clip, and I come up on slower traffic in the left lane. I usually wait a minute, giving them a chance to move over without tailgating. But sometimes they NEVER move, and give you a dirty look when you pass on the right. As if they are doing some great service by keeping me in check? thanks.

Did you know that....
At least in my state, Virginia, you can go and make a complaint/swear out a warrant against the offending driver. You'll have to go to court but in some cases it is the right thing to do.
I have a friend that tends to drive like a bit of an a** and it happened to him. He apparently cut/pissed off a motorcycle driver who pulled into the state police station and swore out a warrant(or whatever the legal mumbojumbo is). They went to court argured their cases and the judge sided against my friend. My friend ended up with a reckless driving ticket. Now I hate to see my friends get tickets but I think it was for the best since it has slowed him down.<p>'01 1.8T QMSPXB + ESP
