My car vibrated between 10-35 mph when the contol arms were bad (technically the "link")

Had the same problem......

Turned out to be motor mounts. Replaced them and it was like driving a new car again, got rid of all sorts of vibs. and rattles in the car.

did you have any tapping noises at all when going over small bumps?

How Expensive are the mounts to replace ? On A V6 12V? And is it easy enough to get a good general mechanic to do it. I live a long distance away from the nearest audi dealer thats all.

If its to hard to tell if there faulty and not to pricy I might just replace them (process of elimination).

no, just axles in the front, actually my car vibrates too, bit i think its my tires cause they r....

rated t, fo high speeds u should use h, or if u like to run, then z's r for the sport cars

Remove the belly pan under the motor. Usually there is a dried black-purplish fluid that leaks out. The mounts cost me about $80 a piece, it was awhile ago when I replaced them. I did the job DIY. Used an engine crane to lift the motor up(2.8 30v motor). Its not one of the easier jobs, but once the motor is up, not too bad.
Oh yes, I should mention it also cured another problem after replacing the mounts. The car would clunk when coming to a stop, it got rid of that completely.
