VW and AoA soon to recommend Synthetic for oil changes of 1.8T
Have you guys heard of VW or Audi "recommending" the use of synthetic oil for our 1.8T fun machines?
I just spoke to 2 different service managers in SE Michigan and one said they did a silent change on the 1.9L VW diesels recently. And he believes this is in store for the 1.8T. The other service manager said that he believes this will happen soon. These guys go to the meetings at VW/AoA in Auburn Hills MI. HQ.
Any confirmation other stories...?
