Wait time????
I'm planning on purchasing my car in the next year... saving $$ for the down payment will take that long... but does that mean i have to wait longer after purchase??? i've been reading the threads here and it sounds like there's a long wait time... any input? experiences?? thanks

Think about it.. makes sense...
It takes a few weeks for them to sort out when they're going to build it (your dealer is allocated orders for certain weeks) and optimize their building order for efficiency. Once it gets built it takes another month to get to your dealer.. so that accounts for like 2+ months of the time. I'm ordering my 2001 A4 this week and they say I should have it late July which isn't too bad. I'm more than psyched.
